After lunch or dinner a unit in which one or more significant chamber-music works by the composer are being performed, preceded by explanatory comment fitting in with the previous listening-lesson. The day’s programme can be composed by mutual agreement. Examples:

- Day around Johannes Brahms with Violin sonata nr. 1 and Trio opus 36
- Day around Robert Schumann, with the Piano-quartet and the Piano-quintet.
- Day around Maurice Ravel, with the Sonata for violin and piano, the Sonata for violin and cello and the Trio for violin, cello, and piano.
